Sri Ganapati Atharvasheersha-Book in English -Nagesh D. Sonde

How does one become experienced? Where its origin and where its appearance and where its end? Which are its foundations, deep and wide, which when expressed pervade far and wide. Seers, intellectuals, thinkers and philosophers have laid their thoughts extensively before humanity for generations. Has that made the experience of the seers accessible to be wise? If not what is the relevance?

The Book does not attempt to experience afresh but take a glimpse of that inaccessible experience  Therefore, every study is an individual attempt to snatch few moments of that experience, if possible, similar experience if the not the same one. Experience of one cannot be compared with experience of another. He can neither measure the depth of a seer’s experience or its range and many questions remain unanswered.

Sri Madhvacarya's commentary- Nagesh D. Sonde-Testimonial from Mrs.Orsolya Németh

Dear Sir,

Thank you very much for your quick reply. I gladly inform you that I have successfully downloaded your translation of Sri Madhvacarya's commentary and summation. God bless you for your selfless service to all those like me who try to approachear  questions of philosophy and religion. I have been trying to get an English version of Sri Madhva's works on the Bhagavad-gita for years now, in vain. And not only your work contains the English translation but the original Sanskrit as well. Thank you so much!

I am currently working on a PhD thesis at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes on Sciences Sociales, Paris, on the history of English translations of the Bhagavad-gita from Wilkins to the present day. In the first part of my thesis I would like to give a historical overview of the Bhagavad-gita, including the three most important commentaries (Shankaracarya, Ramanujacarya and Madhvacarya). Your help has been invaluable. May all your elevated goals in life come true.

Yours sincerely,
Orsolya Németh (Mrs.)

Sri Shankaracharya Sadhana Panchakam-Book in English -Nagesh D. Sonde

More than twenty years have passed since the author came across Sadhana Panchakam, containing the instructions which Sri Shankara had prescribed for new seekers inclined to traverse the Path to Perfection. Captivated by the simplicity of the style and lucidity of thoughts, the instructions were adopted as the first steps on his journey.

They clarified many truths contained in scriptures, primarily the Rigveda, Upanishads, Itihas and some puranas. The notes taken on studying Shankara's commentaries on Upanishads and other hymns fortified the search further.

Krishna a Study basd on Mahabharata - Book in English -Nagesh D. Sonde

I have been writing books primarily on Indian religious philosophies, but have not restricted my study only to Indian philosophies. I have taken interest and have been influenced by religious philosophies in different places, during different periods, living and responding to different racial, social cultural surroundings and situations. The primary purpose of comparative philosophy, I believe, is not to find out which of these religious philosophies speak of the Absolute Prime Existence but how the Absolute Prime Existence has been perceived, experienced, reflected and meditated upon by them bringing out similarity or dissimilarity wherever possible, without being dogmatic, assertive and argumentative, without doubting the enlightenment experienced or justifying the opinions expressed.
